Nintendo has announced that it will take the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection offline on May 20th, permanently disabling the online features of a huge number of games on DS and Wii games. Over 60 titles will lose their online multiplayer support, including two much-loved Animal Crossing titles: the DS’ Wild World, and the Wii’s Let’s Go to the City/City Folk. […]

Great Animal Crossing poster available over at Club Nintendo

Club Nintendo has been rewarding customer loyalty for almost a decade. From covers to currency, cases to cartridges, there have been goodies to please everyone. Of course, the rewards vary greatly from country to country, and UK Nintendophiles have often lamented the inferiority of their Stars Catalogue when compared to the rewards offered in the […]

Animal Crossing Porno?!

We’ve seen a lot of crazy stuff since starting this blog, but this is by far the most sinister. Yep – even worse than that interspecies romance game. Someone has created an Animal Crossing porno video. And, while this smutty creation horribly sullies our beloved game, there’s no denying that it’s actually rather impressive. I […]

Animal Crossing apps

What a technologically advanced world we live in! While we may not yet have the Back to the Future hoverboard so many of us dream of owning, we do have some pretty advanced tech compared to 10 years ago. First and foremost among these innovations is almost certainly the smart phone – a phone-sat nav-media […]

Official Animal Crossing: New Leaf plushies

We love games merchandise – who doesn’t?! However, some of the stuff that our favourite companies offer is decidedly hit-and-miss. So, you can imagine our delight when we recently discovered that Nintendo had commissioned some high quality New Leaf plushies. K.K Slider, Tom Nook, Resetti, Porter, and Kicks have been available for a while, but they’re […]

The Villager’s secret identity…?

Recent screenshots from the upcoming Super Smash Bros games show Animal Crossing’s protagonist, The Villager, using red balloons to float away from danger. Obviously, for fans of Animal Crossing, these red inflatables bring to mind those that are typically seen drifting across the sky, bearing gifts for any eagle-eyed sharpshooter with a slingshot. However, there is also a far more obscure games reference in there too.
